Part of the work we do at Circular Communities Scotland to support a thriving circular economy in Scotland is through our Reuse Consortium. A self-sustaining business model, the consortium is made up of Circular Communities Scotland members who provide reuse furniture and white goods to local authorities across Scotland through a Scotland Excel Framework Agreement.
Circular Communities Scotland is recruiting a Reuse Consortium Officer to support our award-winning Reuse Consortium to grow and continue to thrive. If you have stakeholder and project management skills, good attention to detail and a commitment to supporting the growth of the circular economy in Scotland, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our successful Reuse Consortium.
Resolving any issues quickly and effectively
Maintaining strong relationships with Local Authority / Housing Association buyers and Consortium members.
Regular reporting to key stakeholders
Collaborating with the Development and Partnerships Manager to support the growth of Consortium trading.
Competencies:
Good project management.
Good at relationship building.
Great communication skills.
Good organisational skills who can manage multiple workstreams effectively.
Strong team player.
Able to build and maintain positive and professional relationships with a range of stakeholders, including our Reuse Consortium members, Local Authorities and Housing Associations and the national procurement body Scotland Excel.
A willingness and aptitude to engage in a range of daily tasks such as report writing, facilitating meetings.
Supporting our members and buyers with any issues or conflicts that may arise.
Keenness to support the growth and development of the Consortium.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have an existing right to work in the UK.
